FOSS Bangladesh is going to celebrate the "Linux Day - 2015" here in Bangladesh on Saturday, 22 August 2015 along with the global community. All the Bangladeshi Digital freedom lovers, users, enthusiasts and interested ones on Linux kernel based distributions are welcome to join in this event. It's an Open for all event.
Venue: DUCSU Cafeteria, University of Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Event duration: 16.00 -- 19:00 (local time = GMT+6:00).
Event Plan:
16:00 - 16:30 -- Welcome + Opening Speeches.
16:30 - 19:00-- There will be session on the history and moments, developments information etc. of various Free Softwares and GNU/Linux. Along with these, there will be localized video shows representing Software Freedom, GNU and Linux movements and many more.
There will be a GNU/Linux install and support service booth for the participants, from where they could have the support for free to install GNU/Linux distros on their Desktop/Laptop/Netbook. Moreover ISO's containing GNU/Linux distros will be also available for the participants.
